The aluminum case and all aluminum brackets are treated by an anodizing process for corrosion protection and a long lasting uniform finish. The rear portion of chassis is black anodized. The faceplate and buttons can be either black or silver.

Faceplate Logo Graphics

The Faceplate can include custom graphics and lettering during the anodizing process. Graphics can include company logo, button labels, system specs, and warning labels. Artwork to be provided by customer. Artwork should be in a vector format for best results. Preferred file format is PDF or Adobe Illustrator.

The one-piece rack mount faceplate incorporates rack mounting into the faceplate for a seamless look. The overall width of the faceplate is 19". Oval mounting holes are centered at 18.312". Faceplate height is 3.50" (2U).

The standard hard drive installed is the Seagate Momentus 7200 RPM 2.5" drive. We also have the Seagate 5400 RPM drive and the WD Scorpio Blue 5200 RPM drive. These optional low RPM 2.5" drives run very quietly.

We also offer larger 3.5" hard drives as an option. The low power Seagate Barracuda Green 5900 RPM drives are a good choice for increased capacity and run fairly quiet. The Seagate XT 7200 RPM drives offer more performance at the cost of more noise and heat.

For total silence and extreme speed, a solid state drive (SSD) is the way to go. SSD prices have come way down lately making them a viable choice for your system. System boot-up time is typically 15 seconds and programs launch in the blink of an eye. Adding an SSD gives you the most noticeable performance increase over any other type of upgrade.

Select Dual drives for additional storage. With dual drives, we install the operating system and programs on the SSD and set-up the second HDD for data and media storage. We only recommend running a single 3.5" drive, but we can combine it with a 2.5" drive for the primary in a dual drive configuration.

Note: Zotac Z68 Chipset HeatSync requires selecting one of the 2.5" HDD mounting options. Due to the extra heatpipes, 3.5" HDD's will not fit.

Ceton InfiniTV 4 Tuner Card

The Ceton InfiniTV 4 digital quad-tuner card allows you to record four digital cable or four over-the-air high-definition programs at the same time. The tuner functions are controlled within Windows Media Center which makes it very easy to program, record, and playback your programs. Connection to your antenna or cable is made from a single coaxial connector. Includes riser card, installation, and set-up.
