Years ago, the
Griffin
Technology PowerMate was only available in silver. At that
time we offered re-finishing of the knobs in black. Then Griffin
started selling them in black. As of 2008, they are only available
in silver and we our offering our re-finishing service again.
This unique power supply
from Enermax features a large 80mm cooling fan on the front and a
60mm fan on the back.
400 Watt Power Supply
Note: This power supply is 80mm tall and will only allow space for
one hard drive in the A-Tech 3000 Heatsink Case.
Modified 400 Watt Power Supply
The modified version has the internal
fan speeds reduced for less noise. Both fans are slowed internally by
using a simple fan extension cable with inline resistor. The
larger 80mm front fan uses a 68ohm cable, while the smaller rear
fan uses a 100ohm cable This combination has been fine
tuned for optimum airflow with the least amount of noise.
Note: We no longer stock 2U power supplies. There are
many suppliers on the internet that do. Search for the term "2U power
supply".
External Power Supply Block-off Plate
This block-off plate fits the 2U power supply opening on the
rear panel of the 3000 case. It will allow you to run a external
low-voltage power supply
similar to a notebook computer. The plate features steel threaded
inserts and a power socket cut-out. Designed for the
iTuner power supply PW-200-M, PW-200-V, and picoPSU-120 which can be
purchased from Mini-Box.com.
These power supplies are intended for lower power systems like a
Intel Mobile CPU or VIA ITX MB.
This adapter allows a standard 40-pin IDE data cable
to connect from the motherboard to a slim-line DVD drive. The back
of the adapter also has a connector for a floppy power and CD-out.
Includes mounting screws.
$8.50
Slim-line DVD Power Extension Cable
Due to the design of the door mounted DVD drive, a
longer power cable is needed. Cable is 14" long and has a
4-pin 5.25" power supply connector on one end and a floppy drive connector
on the other. The floppy drive connector is used on most slim-line
IDE adapters.
$7.50
Full-size DVD Power Extension Cable
Due to the design of the door mounted DVD drive, a
longer power cable is needed. This cable is 14" and has a
4-pin 5.25" power supply connector on each end. For
use with a full-size DVD drive.
$4.00
Ultra-Slim IDE Data Cable for DVD drive
A longer IDE data cable may be needed to reach the
door mounted DVD drive. This ultra-slim cable is very compact and
easy to bend and route though the case.
Ultra-Slim to save space and promote airflow
Extra flexible for easy bending & twisting
23" length single device cable
Ultra DMA (ATA 133/100)
High quality cable and connectors
Black nylon mesh sleeve
$18.00
IDE Data Cable for DVD drive
Due to the design of the door mounted DVD drive,
careful routing of the IDE data cable is required. The case includes
cable clamps for routing a round IDE cable up to the drive. A 22-24"
long IDE cable is recommended for connecting the drive to the
motherboard.
This adapter allows you to connect internal USB
devices (VFD, IR, PowerMate, Touch-Screen) directly to a USB header
on the motherboard. Eliminates the need to route these cables
externally. Each adapter has two ports.

Fan Speed Control Cable
The fans used in this case are the slowest speed
available in a 70mm size. However, I prefer to run them even slower
for reduced noise. Stock fan speed is 3300 RPM, this speed is fine for
remote installations where noise is not a concern or where maximum
cooling is desired. Advanced users can easily make/modify their own
cables. Cable is just a standard fan extension cable with a resistor
installed inline to reduce the current to the fan.
Note: There are many variables to optimum fan speed. You may want to run the fans faster with a hot video card.
A cool running system can run the fans at slower speeds. For quiet cooling of your Radeon, see the
Mass-Air
Heatsink System.
Recommended fan speeds:
00 ohm = 3300 RPM (>3 GHz)
33 ohm = 2500 RPM (2.8 - 3 GHz)
47 ohm = 2300 RPM (2.5 - 2.8 GHz)
68 ohm = 2000 RPM (2.0 - 2.5 GHz)
82 ohm = 1600 RPM (1.8 - 2.0 GHz)
100 ohm = 1300 RPM (<1.8 GHz)
For lower noise, slower speeds can be used. Get a
few sizes to see what works best in your system.
Automatic Fan Speed Controller
This Fan
Speed Controller is compact in size for easy mounting in any location. Linear response curve for smooth
ramp up. Load stabilized output for consistent speed. 12 volt
start-up circuit spins fan at full speed during start up to ensure reliable
operation. One controller can be used with two case fans using a
fan splitter cable. Most motherboards can handle the current of two small
fans per connector. Typical speed range is around 1700---2500
RPM. If you want to constantly run your fan at a precise RPM- get
the fan
speed cable instead.
$15.00
Fan Splitter Cable
Use this cable to connect two
case fans to a single three pin header. Allows two fans to be used
with one fan speed controller. 3-pin connectors for fans with tach signal. 12" length for extended reach.
